He's A Swimmer!

No blog updates recently as Joshua has been pretty sick all weekend and what with juggling Brandon's needs it has been a tough week to put it bluntly. Brandon continues to feed constantly and is gaining weight at a much quicker rate than Joshua did, despite starting at a lighter body weight. I think now he is probably just a tad over what Joshua weighed when he was first born.

Whilst Joshua was asleep at the weekend, Brandon nipped into his MAC truck tent to catch a few zzzzzzz himself. Doesn't he look at peace............

Before I move off of Brandon can I add that Joshua was quickly influenced by certain family members to become an Arsenal fan and has subsequently been purchased 3 football kits. Now Brandon is currently a free spirit and is open to offers if anyone fancies getting in there first. Of course I could just hand down the Arsenal kits once Joshie is finished with them and have two gooners. If anyone does want to influence Brandon's football preference then I must insist on it being a Southern team of London or Essex origin. None of these Northern teams please......

So onto Joshua. Well isn't it lovely now the weather has changed and we can get out in the garden again. Now that Joshua is so mobile (compared with last year) he absolutely loves it in the garden and it is a whole new world for him to explore. Looks like this weekend we will be shopping around for some garden toys for the boys. Anyway here are some piccies of Joshua in our back garden.

And here is Joshua testing out our new garden table and chairs. Roll on summer evenings when we can eat our tea at the table in the garden.

Ever wondered what a simple whites wash load looks like when you have two under two's in the house???? Well look no further...........basically its a washing line full of miniature clothes. It takes forever to hang out each little item...........

Finally for those that are not already asleep or are bored with this blog update - there is some very special news about Joshua. At a year and a half old I can confirm that the little guy can SWIM already!!!! Tonight in the pool he sat down at the side of the big pool, did a few leg kicks, then threw himself fearlessly into the pool. From there he kicked his legs all the way around to where the pool steps are and climbed out on his own. Clearly taking him swimming every week is paying dividends now. I will try and get some pictures soon as hopefully we will get Brandon in the pool within the next week so I will dust off the dive camera to get some water shots.
