Bulgaria Sunny Beach 2023 - Day 13 Meeting up with the Cobbin's

The penultimate day of what has been a really good holiday and we had something special planned. Amazingly Chris, Steve and Leyla had flown in from Norfolk a day or so ago and were only staying about 2.5 miles South of where we were staying. All holiday we had been promising ourselves to catch a ride on the little trains that run down Sunny Beach for 6 LEV each, so this was an ideal opportunity to jump on the train and head down to meet up with them.

We ended up jumping on two trains as the first one only went half way (which meant paying twice) and then once close, Leyla and Brandon seemed to locate each other through Snap Chat location or something. It meant a quick walk across some sand dunes to a beach, but we soon found them at a nice little beach bar.

Chris is lacking mobility and struggles with the sand so we kind of camped up at this beach bar for most of the day. The kids all had their swimming stuff so within no time we were all in the sea having a good mess around. Lunchtime we stayed in the bar and got the kids a pizza each whilst the boys dwelled over some very scantily dressed ladies dancing out the front of the bar!!!

Later in the afternoon we took a slow walk down the strip where we settled in a shaded bar for a chill and a couple of Mojito's whilst Leyla and Holly nipped off to get some matching henna hand tattoo's. After a lovely day with the Cobbins we said our goodbyes and jumped in a taxi back to the Majestic to get cleaned up ready for dinner.

All wee we had been promising ourselves a ride on the little trains that run up and down Sunny Beach.

And today was the day we finally got to do it as we took a journey South to meet the Cobbins.

Another beautiful day to be out and about enjoying the sun and sea.

Holly and Tina on the train.

Once we met up with Chris, Steve and Leyla I think we were all keen to get in the sea and cool off.

Nice and warm today and a few waves to mess around in as well.

I think all 3 kids really enjoyed meeting up with Leyla and going to the beach.

Of course we took our trusty little American Football to play with.

Leyla and Steve battle for the ball.

And that is a battle she was never going to win.

Lovely to see all of them playing in the sea.

They were happy to spend a good few hours in the sea and only came out for drinks and food.

Whilst we were in the sea, Tina kept Chris company in the shaded beach bar.

Lovely sandy beaches.

H and Tina at the beach bar.

The water was just lovely again today, shame the holiday is coming to an end.

My little beach girl.

Some of the sandy dunes we had to cross to meet up with the Cobbins!

So disappointing of Josh to keep ruining my holiday pictures. In years to come he will wonder why there are not many of him and this is the reason why!

Unlike this one who is happy to pose for pictures.

Leyla and Brandon at the table waiting for their pizzas.

Holly and Josh on the other side of the table.

A nice break from the sun for some food.

Uncle Steve a Leyla.

Yours truly.

Any chance to get some time on their phones.

Me winding Holly up playing with her braids.

Finally the pizza arrives and they start stuffing their faces.

No letting the food go down, straight back in to the sea afterwards!

Brandon about to launch one.

I think Holly classes Leyla as a big sister whenever they meet up.

It is quite scary to see how grown up Leyla is looking.

Me and Leyla.

Later in the day we found a nice little bar to chill and have some drinks.

Whilst Leyla and Holly went off and got matching henna tattoos.

King's and Cobbin's group photo in Bulgaria. This time Leyla hiding from the camera.

In our evening walk t was back to the kids favourite shop - Nicky's and yet one more football kit each bring this holiday count to 3 each in total!!

Brandon looking very cool and ready for another night on the Vodka and Coke!
