Nr.1 Bargain Hunter

Who knows what was nr.1 in the UK Charts when they were born? Well one day I will have the misfortune of telling Joshua that number 1 on 18th Oct 2007 was the Sugarbabes. Unfortunately Brandon isn't much better as Lady GaGa was nr.1 when he was born. Still who am I to whinge at the state of modern chart music - after all when I was born Nilsson was number 1 with a song called "Without You" which was a suicide inspired song written by two members of Badfinger, who both later committed suicide. When Tina was born Wizzard was number 1 with a song called "See my baby jive".

I assume everyone remembers last weeks blog update where I showed you pictures of Joshua's new fridge magnet set. Well out of 26 letters who can explain why he always picks up "O" in one hand and "A" in the other. Surely this isn't just coincidence as he has done it so many times.

After last weeks purchase of the fridge magnet set Joshua was again spoilt this week during our shopping trip. Basically I have fallen into the trap of buying the boys something every time we go shopping. This week he got this really cool bath time aqua marine set. Tina's face dropped when I showed her what we had bought as she seemed concerned about how much I had spent. But this was the ultimate bargain. Normally sells at £15 and was in the Tesco's clearance sale for £3.66. Even Tina admitted she would have bought it at that price and as you can see from below Joshua loved playing with it during bath time tonight.

"Hello, I am new here" - well 5 weeks old now.

Joshua and Brandon's penthouse suite is progressing very well. All of the structural work is complete and the stairs are now in place. The building inspector came today to sign off stage 1 of the build. Somehow I think Brandon will not need a double bed in his new room though as he is a little bit lost in such a vast space!!!!!

With a bit of serious camera zoom you can see that he is actually in our bed and having a nap. This was a much needed nap as the boys had a busy day today going to PartyMan this morning and then for a walk over the park to feed the geese this afternoon.
