The Snake Chant

At the weekend Joshua sat down on his I-pad and decided he wanted to write a poem. Without any help he sat there and wrote a poem called "The Snake Chant". I have to say I am really impressed, so much so that we printed it off for him to take in to school and show his teachers. When he showed his teacher she sent him to the head mistress to show her and subsequently he was awarded a house point for his work.

THE SNAKE CHANT

 

Red snake,blue snake,

 Find them in the field snake.

 

 Long snake,little snake,

 Find them in your house snake.

 

Slimy snake,gooey snake,

 Find in the park snakes.

 

Wiggly snake,giggly snake,

Find them in your bed snakes.

 

Pink snakes,sink snakes,

Find them in the garden snakes.

 

Fat snake, thin snakes,

Chinese people eat snakes.

 

Football snake,rugby snake,

Find them in the sport snakes.

 

Rattle snakes,noisy snakes,

Find them in the barn snakes.

 

Spotted snakes, stripy snakes,

All different patterned snakes.
