Dorset - Sandford Park Day 6 - Poole Splashdown Waterpark

Day 6 and not too many pictures for today. We spent the morning playing crazy golf again as Park Dean gave us a free round as compensation for the near 2 hour delay in getting served food in the restaurant on our first night. Me and Brandon had a very close competitive round whilst the others just messed about and as much as I hate to admit it, Brandon beat me by 1 shot!

In the afternoon we had booked a 3 hour slot in the Splashdown Waterpark in Poole. Entry was pretty expensive for all 5 of us and given that the UK is not known for great water parks I was very concerned this might be a waste of money. However I couldn't have been more wrong. By far the best water park I have been to in the UK and in total there must have been 15+ different slides to tryout. Most of the slides are pretty thrilling and have you wanting to go back for more.

What was really cool is that Holly was tall enough and able to ride on all of the slides including the big fish bowl drop. She absolutely loved all of the slides and could even go down the lazy river in her own ring instead of on someone lap. It was definitely well worth the money as we had such a good blast.

So not many pictures for today as the water park doesn't allow cameras, so instead I have downloaded of few pics of the Splashdown park from the web.

Another round of Jurassic crazy gold courtesy of Park Dean.

Then in the afternoon it was off to the Splashdown Waterpark.

This is one of the outdoor slides which has a very steep drop, the opposite side are two black hole type slides.

Fortunately it was nice and sunny when we went so you didn't get cold when going from the inside slides to the outside.
