2023 Giant Cracker and Final Elf Updates

Well that a wrap for the Elf on the Shelf for 2023 - we only managed 12 days this year which was just about manageable. Will this be the final year or will Holly still be a believer for one more year? Who knows? In the final few days leading up to Xmas the Elf made a biscuit train type of thingy, a Cris"P"mas Tree and then for the final night the Elf brought all the kids their Xmas Eve boxes.

The boys have kind of outgrown the Xmas Eve boxes and seemed very uninterested this year. They had a bottle of Cider/WKD, a bottle of Prime, some chocolates, a hat and a few other knick-knacks in their box. Holly had some choccies, some bath bombs and a new Stitch Oodie which she has lived in all Xmas Eve!

Also me and H completed the large Xmas cracker for our Boxing Day secret Santa presents. It seems that each year that passes I get less and less help with the cracker. In times gone by I would have Matt, Zoe and Amy helping, then things moved on to Josh and Brandon, then Holly and now it is mostly just me. Joshua's contribution this year was zero, Brandon's was to pick the colour card for one end. Holly added a few sticky bands and that was about it!!!

The Elves pathetic attempt at a gingerbread train using Digestives, Bourbon's and icing.

The next night the Elf decorated our Xmas Tree with crisps making it a Crispmas tree.

Luckily Holly likes ready salted crisps.

Final day for 2023 and the Elf brings the kids their Xmas Eve boxes.

Holly wearing her new Stitch Oodie and showing the bath bombs that the Elf bought her for her Xmas Eve box.

And finally the 2023 giant cracker with a re-cycled mid-section from last year. Other than me Holly is the only one who can claim any contribution to this years effort.
