Day 6 and another day spent on resort relaxing and enjoying the amazing facilities. The gym at our hotel was spread over 3 levels and was without a shadow of a doubt the best hotel gym I have ever seen. I was pretty much like a kid in a sweet shop when I saw it. I usually like to rest up on holiday and let my body recover a bit, but this gym was so impressive that I managed to fit in 5 sessions over the course of the 12 days we were away. It helped that I was still waking up early whilst all the others slept in, so I managed to get my workouts in, a dip in the sea, a double espresso at the coffee shop and then back to the room to wake them all up for breakfast.
Anyway on Day 6 as well as the gym I had booked a water spin class which they ran in the main pool. Spin classes are not really my cup of tea but the experience of trying a water bike out was something I couldn't refuse. As you would expect cycling in water adds significant resistance and certainly gives you a good leg pump. There was so many people interested in the water spin class that they ran a second class straight after my one finished and despite not being old enough we managed to sneak Holly on to one of the bikes. She absolutely loved it.
To end the evening the hotel entertainment was a white themed party and thus we all tried to dress in as much white as we could and Holly got some white face paint done.

Love being on the beach early doors when nobody else is around. |
I found where the lizards underground house is. |
And found this sad little lizard who at some stage had lost his tail. |
It is also nice to jump in the pool early morning when everyone is still in bed. |
From the pool looking back at the main lobby area. |
Brandon catching some rays rather than sitting in our sun shelters. |
Holly participating in some wool arts with the entertainment crew. |
She loved the morning craft activities on the main pool stage. |
Me and the boonie all set for a water spin class. |
A little too much aerobics and not enough cycling though. |
Really good fun though and something new to experience. |
They had a dozen bikes in the pool and ran 2x classes as demand was high. |
Getting a pump on. |
Despite being in the pool it was so hot and sweaty in the mid day heat. |
At any opportunity I was trying to splash water over my upper body to try and cool off. |
Sweaty back. |
We sneaked Holly on to the second class. |
She loved this just as much as me. |
Working up an appetite for lunch. |
Grinding hard. |
This is what the bike looks like underwater. |
The feet clips are surprisingly comfortable in the water. |
The bikes are very lightweight in construction but very stable in the water. |
Holly having a go at the surfboard race in the pool. |
Getting a bit sideways before hitting the finish line. |
Chuckle bunny. |
Time for me to show her how it is done. |
All the nice food in the restaurant and Holly eats plate loads of watermelon. |
The two ladies in the whites ready for tonight's white party. |
Another round of tequila's to start the evening. |
Then the white party. |
We all pretty much had an outfit which was mostly white so that we didn't look out of place. |
Doesn't Joshua look happy? |
Holly getting her white party face paint done. |
At least the white paint won't show on her pillow if she doesn't get it all washed off later. |
