Day 4

A few general updates before I talk about Day 4 of our holiday. Firstly Brandon's top two teeth have finally broken skin. So the little guy now has his front four and has quickly learnt to grind his teeth (much to Tina's dissatisfaction). Joshua has also shown a major development this week and is getting very road safe. Despite not being 2 yet he stops at roads, looks both ways for cars and waits till we say cross over. How good is that!!!

Day 4 started off with a family bike ride through Elveden woods in search for another scenic lake. We soon found the lake and was greeted by about 50 birds which surrounded us. Joshua was a bit bemused and just sat down for a rest. Brandon was completely unimpressed and fell asleep in the bike trailer!

After the bike ride the boys spent a bit more time in one of the parks. Here are a couple of nice snaps of Brandon riding a horse and driving the tractor.

Joshua off exploring a tree house /slide.

As you are probably gathering by now there is a common theme of parks, swimming and playtime on this holiday. Guess thats all part of having two young children. Not that I am complaining as I thoroughly enjoyed taking the boys to another play session.

Looks like Joshua is going to take his Dad's keen interest in cooking as he played non stop on this kitchen set for about 25 mins. One girl tried to bribe him off of it by giving him a tractor - he simply popped the tractor into the microwave and carried on playing!

"Get out of my kitchen!!!"

Once I finally got Joshua away from the kitchen we managed to do some painting. So start clearing a space on your fridge - there are plenty of pictures to go around.

In the afternoon it was back to the pool. Not sure if I have already mentioned that the pool has this heated wall area to cosy up in. The wall is decorated with "nemo" fish as Josh would call them and is a very cosy 40 degrees!

Both the boys having some swim time with Daddy.

Brandon seems to be getting the hang of floating on his back.

Both boys performing an assisted back float down the lazy river.

To propel you down the lazy river are several strategically placed jets. Joshua absolutely loved being chucked in front of the jet and then blasted off down the river at break neck speed.

Finally for today after all the activity it was time to treat the family to a meal out for the night. This is a rare photo of all four of us enjoying a meal out.
