Brandon's HMS Wave Blaster

One of the things Brandon really wanted for his 5th Birthday was a radio controlled speed boat. As much as he loved the presents we got him, the very last one he opened was his radio controlled Lamborghini. He was thrilled with the Lamborghini and it is exactly what he wanted, however he also knew it was the last present he had to open and he had not received his radio controlled boat. So there is one of those glorious moments on video where Brandon opens his Lamborghini and had a sad expression as he comments, "but wheres my speed boat?". So you can imagine how happy he was to open his present from Auntie Nicky today and find she had bought him a radio controlled wave blaster speed boat.

And then he insisted on pictures of the front and side view as well.

Despite Brandon's Sporting Village Gymnastics birthday party being only 1.5 hours aways he was determined to test his boat out before leaving. So we slipped on the wellies and headed over to the Wick Park lake for its maiden voyage. After a little search for the calmest bit of water, Brandon was up and running and doing donuts and generally controlling the boat very well.

As Auntie, Nicky, Uncle Paul, Amy and Matt visited today it is always good to get some more pictures of Holly. I am not sure I have put a picture of Holly with Uncle Paul on the blog yet, so he goes.

So now that both boys have radio controlled boats I will look forward to some nice summer days out to have a bit of boat racing either at Maldon, Wat Tyler or maybe even over at Lake Meadows.
