Beavers European Food Market Experience

Having been on a week long European tour of Czech Republic, Slovakia and France, I am now a little bit behind on blog updates. This time of the year there is just so much going on with the kiddies that inspiration for the next blog is not hard to come by. So for today I am writing about a trip to Basildon market which Brandon had with his Beavers group last week to try out lots of different European foods.

It was great of the market trader to offer to lay on a European spread for some 20+ hungry little Beavers. We were a bit apprehensive about whether Brandon would actually try any of the foods as he is not that adventurous with his food. But the Beaver leaders assure us he tried a few bits of the food and even took photos as evidence for us. Normally I would be there as a parent helper and know exactly what food was on offer, but as I was abroad with work last week then I missed out.

What a great looking spread of European foods for the kiddies to try.

Brandon all wrapped up on a cold winters night and getting stuck into some food.
Yum, yum, what next.
The plate seems to be emptying but Brandon is not looking impressed.
Is that Brandon eating some European food or is he about to bite his thumb off.
