Festive Foot Golf for Forest Glade

Today we took the Forest Glade Under 7 Tigers for a festive round of footgolf followed by a cheeky McDonalds as a Xnas treat from the coaches. Having 7 lively boys without their parents was certainly a handful, but we had a really good day. The event had a real festive feel with the frozen grounds and all of us wearing our cheesy Xmas jumpers.

At the start of each hole all of the boys were tee'ing off well and tonking the balls as hard as they could. But surprisingly they really struggled with the side foot putting which required a gentle touch, some finesse and to let the astro turf greens do the work. Out of all seven of the boys I would say Joshua probably had the best touch around the putting greens, although Ethan was hitting the balls the furthest from the kick-off.

McDonald's afterwards was carnage and I think the 7 of them provided entertainment for other guests and the staff. How they didn't get us kicked out for making so much noise is beyond me. But it was really nice to treat the boys as they have worked so hard all year and their undefeated league run is proof of this.
