Brandon's Birthday Party

Today Brandon had his birthday party where he had invited half a dozen of his school friends and his football team for a round of bowling over at Hollywood bowl followed by a Happy Meal each. This was one of the first kids parties we have done where probably 50% of the parents dropped the kids off and didn't stay with them leaving them completely in our responsibility and I have to say it was quite stressful. Brandon really enjoyed his party though and got some really nice presents along with a stack of cash bringing his birthday money up to over £100!!!

This party was also the first time that all his football team have been invited to one of their birthday and it was intentional on our part as the team really hasn't come together as mates like what Joshua's U8 team has. So we figured that they really need some more interaction outside of the football to start to bring them together as friends as well as team mates. Brandon did ok and came 3rd in the bowling on his lane, the winner was our goal keeper, Connor.

Brandon's birthday cake was a Star Wars R2D2 cake.

After the bowling all the boys headed over to McDonalds for a Happy Meal (yes that is Joshua wearing shorts and t-shirt in the middle of winter!).

Once all the boys got their food we finally had a little bit of peace and quiet.

Everyone enjoyed the party and afterwards Brandon gave out his sweet cones and a football cup cake each as a way of saying thanks.
