Bog Bear Blanket (BBB), Paramedic Brandon & Joshua's Cubs Fun Day

You may recall from an older blog that Auntie Nicky bought Holly a rather big bear at IKEA once. Holly keeps “Big bear” in her bed with her every night and earlier in the week I went in to check on her one morning and she was out of her quilt, lying face down and cuddling her big bear like a blanket. So adorable.

Another funny picture from this week was from Beavers where we had a paramedic come in and talk to all the kids about their job and some of the equipment that they use. Anyway the picture is of Brandon wearing the paramedics coat which could pretty much substitute as a tent for him. The kids all seemed to have fun, but the highlight of the session for them was blowing up the latex hand gloves and drawing a chicken face on them!!!

Our May bank holiday weekend is going to be a bit disjointed as Joshua was at a Cubs fun day all day today and then me and Brandon are at the Beavers fun day all day Sunday. The rest of today I competed in the 2nd Annual Rayleigh Crossfit Games and then spent the afternoon knocking down the old shed ready to put up a new one. So not much family time. Joshua had a great time at the Cubs fun day and did abseiling, tightrope walking, mini bike riding, making rice balls, air rifle shooting, archery, obstacle courses and so much more. I hope Brandon's fun day is just as fun filled as it should be a great day for me and him.
