Holly's Miniature Play World

As the children grow older we are finding that the house is slowly becoming tidier due to there being less and less toys lying around. Other than the PlayStations the two boys don’t have any toys downstairs anymore and to be honest they haven’t got many in their bedroom. Unless it is electronic, i.e. phone, IPAD, laptop, computer or PlayStation they pretty much have no interest. Over the years we have tried so many toys with the two boys but neither of them were ever really the type to sit there and play with cars or superhero figurines etc.

Holly is the complete opposite and I think I have mentioned a few times that every now and then she will just shut herself off in her bedroom and quite happily make up role play with all her teddies, dolls, LOL’s etc. Often it is nice to just creep up and stand at her door watching her playing in her miniature world using her imagination. Her room can often look a mess when she is playing, but oddly enough she seems to know where everything is and will soon notice if you move something.

Long may this continue as once Holly outgrows this stage I will have 3 kids trying to grow in to teenagers before their time!!!

Holly playing in her little miniature world. It looks a mess but she knows where everything is.

On closer inspection you see LOL dolls on chairs, some laying on doctor beds, others getting their hair done at her dressing table. Lovely imaginative play.
