Holly has really started to get into her football now and since the recent school tournament she now goes to WildCats on a Saturday morning and then Wickford Town girls on a Thursday night. On Sunday she played her first game with the Wickford Town girls and they beat a team of boys 5-3 with Holly playing in goal for all of the second half and only letting in one goal.
We are not sure yet whether Wickford Town is right for her as they seem to have lots of fun training, but so far I have seen very little in the way of coaching. So we are going to give it another couple of weeks before making a decision.
On Saturday we were also down Wickford High Street and there was a market stall selling knock off football tops very cheaply. So the two boys both got a new England shirt for £20 each and Holly got the complete England strip for just £20.
