Part of Joshua's morning ritual became grabbing a few slices of bread and then feeding the ducks, geese and squirrels from the patio doors of the villa. Brandon would often sit in his walker watching the animals intently.
After breakfast the day started with a session of toddler baby playtime similar to yesterday afternoon. However on route we stopped off at the park so that Joshua could drive the train and both the boys could have a go on the swings.
Once we arrived at the playtime I'll give you two guesses as to what was the first toy Joshua made a bee line for??????
Mean while Brandon played in the soft toy area.
Here is Joshua practicing for "The Cube" - can you stack the rings higher than your head, it looks easy - but not in the cube!
After the play session we found the arcades and as you can see Joshua got straight into the driving games (no surprises there).
Daddy and Brandon playing some drums.
On the way back to the Villa for lunch we found another little park where the boys had a quick horsie ride and got to drive a tractor.
Our main method of transport for the week was the bikes and as you can see from below I was fully loaded up with Brandon in the trailer, Joshua on the front seat and the rucksack on my back. The plan was for both boys to sit in the trailer but Joshua absolutely loves the front seat and the only time he gave it up to sit next to his brother was when he was stuffing his face with an ice-cream.
This is Joshua's new camera pose where he shouts out "cheeeese".
After lunch we decided to have the first of many trips to the indoor swimming pool. Taking the boys swimming weekly has paid dividends as they are both completely fearless of the water and loved the various pools. Here is a nice picture of me and the boys. The treasure isn't in the treasure chest behind me, it is sitting on my lap.
