Harry And His Bucket Of Dinosaur's

Well Xmas has been and gone and now it is time to start planning for Brandon's big second birthday at the end of the month. But fear not there is plenty of updates and news to report out before Brandon's big day.

Firstly over the Xmas break I have taken the boys swimming 3 or 4 times. On the last occasion I managed to get Joshua to start using his arms as well as his legs and amazingly he swam about a 3rd of a length of the big pool using arms and legs. It was one of those moments where you are in complete amazement and disbelief at what you are seeing. He was so proud of himself and was shouting out to me to watch him. Anyway after much praise and congratulations I also rewarded him with this medal when we got home. He is very very proud of this. Next week we will try for half a length.

To make sure that we do not miss Brandon's second birthday the little guy has made Mummy and Daddy this lovely looking calendar which as you can see he is very proud of.

Also, is this the new Essex Boy Chef to follow in the footsteps of Jamie Oliver? Brandon was giving me a helping hand with dinner a few nights ago.

Tonight I was playing with the boys in their bedrooms and the two little monkeys were climbing all over (and inside their toy boxes).

Also whilst in the bedroom I filled one of the little toy buckets with Brandon's dinosaurs and told him it was "Harry and his bucket of dinosaurs" - (which he is currently very keen on). Perhaps this was the wrong thing to do as he subsequently emptied out the dinosaurs and then tried to jump into the bucket as Harry does in the cartoon.

We also owe a little thank you to Amy!!!!!!!!! Whilst upstairs tonight Joshua removed one of his socks and then got a different coloured one out of his drawer and out that on. For the rest of the day he insisted on wearing odd socks. Thanks AMY!

What a fantastic fun filled as well as present receiving, couple of weeks you've had. Well done josh on the swimming and who'd have thought brandon would be interested in food prep! Bet you all really enjoyed every minute but are exhausted now. Happy new year one and all, and can't wait for more blog updates.

gotta love me Jason, it's the fashion Brandon will be doing it in no time as well. I didn't tell him to wear odd socks though he must've just decided he wanted to be cool, hehe. :) xxx
