Day 3 Disney Car Parade

This is a rare blog update which actually doesn't include any pictures of the boys. Just after lunch on Day 3 in Disney Studios we watched the spectacular Disney Characters Car Parade. I think the boys were expecting actual Disney cars such as Lightning McQueen and the Buzz RC Racer etc. However instead the show had loads of beautiful old American Classics customised for each of the Disney characters.

Goofy led the parade out.

Followed by Daisy and Donald.

Snow White's wheels. Brandon liked the yellow on this one.

The Little Mermaid with a sea horse as a hood ornament and a massive shell as the trunk.

The sea effect paint job on this car was just stunning.

One of the best cars was the Aladdin one with the Genie popping out of the front. Just imagine cruising down Bas Vegas in this baby.

Aladdin himself with the raft of the fire from his nemesis the evil Jafar (or is it the Sultan). I am still learning all the characters,

Lilo & Stitch on their Hawaiian themed surf waggon.

Another lovely paint job on the Toy Story car. Love Mr and Mrs Potato head on the front.

Just when you thought the cars could not get any more extreme along came Ratatouille with a giant wine glass on the hood and a cooking pot and utensils on the trunk.

Finally it was the stars of the show. Mickey and Minnie in an old Rolls Royce. In Disneyland Paris this is the equivalent of the Queen driving down the road.

The picture does not do this car any credit. The paint job was just amazing.
Another long day over with and it was off to dinner and then swimming with the boys again. So one more day to go. On day 4 it was back to Disneyland for the boys to make the most of their last day, plus we had dinner in the Cafe Mickey with all the Disney Characters. So lots of good pictures still to come.
