Cross Dressing Joshua with a Bible!

One of the great things about modern schools is that so much more information is available to parents via so many different sources of media than back in the day when I was at school. For example the school website is updated weekly with class photos, news letters, events and so much more. This is great given that Joshua hardly tells us anything about what he gets up to at school. So we at least get a bit of insight into his daily activities and can then talk to him about it. Of course about 3 weeks ago I got to attend a morning session at his school and watch the children in their class room environment. This was great for me and I got to watch Joshua in his P.E. class where they were practising lots of balancing using 1,2 and 3 different body parts. Anyway below are a few pictures taken from the school website showing some of the class room activities from his first term.

Joshua never told us he did some baking at school.

Joshua loves his snack attack time. They use an Avengers theme and he is Thor (big and strong).

Thankfully I cannot see Joshua in the wedding so at least my eldest Son isn't married just yet.

I hope to god this was not Joshua's idea to dress up as  Queen (see bottom right)!
The school also had a visit from a priest recently who came in to talk to all the children about religion and every child was given a copy of the bible. I am not in the slightest bit religious but I think this is great for the kids. It is so important that they get an insight into everything that is out there and then they can make their own decisions rather than just following in the foot steps of their parents. Joshua is very proud of his bible and often walks around with it trying to recognise the odd word or two in it. The first night he brought it home he also insisted on putting it beside his bed when he went to sleep.
