Joshua's 1st Christmas School Play

For weeks and weeks now Joshua has been practising hard at school for his 1st ever Christmas Play and yesterday Tina got to be the first in the family to watch him in action, The play is called "The Magical Christmas Jigsaw" and you will have to wait until Thursday before I elaborate what it is actually about as that is when I get to go and watch a performance. I have to say it is a pretty gruelling schedule for the foundation class as they have got to go through the hour long play something like 4 or 5 times this week.

What I do know about the play at the moment is that Joshua is a character called Nazarene. He only has one line to remember which is "Why do you need to count us? What's it all about?". In addition to that line he has to sing in with all the song's within he play. I have not seen the play yet but I know one of the songs almost off by heart as Joshua often walks around the house singing it.

Marching, marching all the way,
Roman soldiers here with us today,
Listen up to what we have to say,
Cesar Gustus rules OK

Joshua sitting up on the stage with the Roman soldiers behind him.

The children all look very well behaved and sitting nicely.
