Joshua continues his good work at school and was picked for the school football team this week which meant he got to go to Oakfield school today to play in a mini tournament. It looks like the kids had a lovely time in the gorgeous sunshine and Joshua's team won one game and lost one.

Holly is also getting a very clever little girl and seems to learn more and more each day. Whilst she cannot talk yet, she certainly understands a lot of phrases and can follow simple instructions. Whilst Joshua was at Beavers last night, Brandon sat down with Holly and was teaching her how to play a maths game on his IPAD.

Tonight was Brandon's night at Beavers and he is currently working towards his cooking badge and for this he has to cook a starter, main course and desert. Tonight he did the starter and pudding. For starter he made a prawn cocktail using tomato sauce, mayonnaise, Worcester sauce, lemon juice, pepper and prawns. Although Brandon didn't like it himself, I tried it and it was really quite good. For the pudding he made a fresh fruit salad which he had to cut up himself and then add a small amount of orange juice. He loved his fruit salad and ate the entire bowl full plus some extras.

Next week at Beavers Brandon has got to make his main course which will be a pitta bread pizza.
