A big happy New Year for 2017 from the King family. Holly was too tired to stay up and see the New Year in with the rest of us, but Joshua and Brandon did stay up as they wanted to watch the London fireworks on TV. We spent the evening watching Worlds Strongest Man, Captain America Civil War and then a bit of Robbie Williams before the Big Ben countdown. It is quite funny hearing the boys saying all the old jokes such as "I am not going to clean my teeth anymore this year" or "I am not going to bother with any more school until next year" and so on.
On New Years day everyone slept in until about 9 to 9:30am which was nice and then we had a lazy day staying indoors playing games and taking down the Christmas decorations. Of course for dinner we had the last serving of the Jamie Oliver turkey and leak pie with some of my special creamy mash. Only one more serving of turkey left and that will be for a curry tomorrow.
