Orlando Florida Day 11 - Pool Day and Disney Golf

So after 10 days in Florida and 10 different parks completed, Day 11 was due to be a repeat day. However as much as I wanted to head back to one of the Universal Parks, the kids one done with theme parks for the time being and were just craving a day on the resort messing around in the pool.

So we spent the morning having some good old fun in the main swimming pool and then me and Joshua took a little walk around the resort lakes spotting as many alligators as we could. We noticed several lurking in the water and then saw a little baby on the grass by the side of the lake, it was only about 2-3ft long but I still wouldn't mess with it and kept my distance.

After the morning at the pool we headed out for some lunch and then decided to spend the afternoon at a couple of the Disney crazy gold courses. So we started with the Fantasia Golf and then took the short drive over to the Winter Summerland Miniature Golf.

We finished Day 11 with a bit of shopping at Disney Springs and then went for a quick dinner at Chicken Guy.

Day 11 chill day at Bahama Bay Resport.

Lovely little garden in the lobby area.

All the pools on resort had jacuzzi's which were set to extremely hot temperature.

You couldn't stay in these long, I reckon they were cranked dup to 40 degrees, easily.

Brandon initially didn't want to go in the pool and wanted to catch up on Snap Chat and Tik Tok, they didn't last long when he saw the rest of us having fun and cooling down in the heat.

Well done boys, you taught your little sister to cannonball!

Joshua about to make a splash.

For some reason Brandon kept wearing socks in pools and every time it put a hole in them!!!!

My ladies.

Still got it, double stacking Brandon and Holly on my shoulders. No way I am trying Josh anymore!

Off for a walk around the resort - you don't get warning signs like this at home when we are near the rivers/lakes.

One of the many beautiful lakes on site, but don't get too close to the edge.

Me and Josh went off for a walk to see how many gators we could spot.

More scenery from Bahama Bay Resort.

And that is why you don't go near the lakes!

Bahama Bay does have a little splash park but we only used it the once.

If nothing else it is a nice way to cool off.

Especially standing underneath this.

Or leaping through this.

Even Josh came over with me and H to cool off for a bit.

Back to the pool and acrobatics with Holly leaping off of my shoulders.

And then a bit of Crossfit doing some overhead presses with a Holly.

After lunch it was Disney Fantasia Miniature Golf.

Absolutely immaculate miniature golf course as you would expect from Disney.

Even Tina decided to play.

Up the ramp and then down the steps.

No  atter how much you aimed left, the ball always went right!

Holly waiting for the mushroom to pop up.

Brandon teeing off - yes in sliders with socks!

Loved this hole but didn't get it through the snowflake in one.

Holly tends to do a full gold swing instead of a small putt motion.

It may look cold in here, but it was bloody hot again today.

You need just enough power to go up and curve around on this hole.

Otherwise you end up coming down this side.

Well no going straight up the middle of that hole.

Through the crocs mouth.

To make this one harder I was spinning the hippo around (I think it was supposed to spin on its own but was clearly broken or turned off).

Water fountain - time to dip hats and faces!

This hole had a grill to cross which squirted water, needless to say we were laying down and soaking our faces again in an attempt to cool down.

The water wasn't cold, but it was better than nothing.

I suppose we better play the hole instead of just soaking our heads.

Near the end of the Fantasia course.

Your ball is swallowed up by this vortex and then water is squirted out.

Brandon on the final hole.

H decides to just stand then and get soaked.

Straddling the fountain waiting for the water to squirt. So lady like.

We had so much fun on Fantasia that we took a short drive to also find the Winter Summerland Miniature Golf.

Always seems off seeing festive decoration in a hot climate.

This time Tina decided not to play and thus took the camera meaning there are some pictures of me for once.

The course may have looked wintery, but it was still another bloody hot day.

We tried teaching Holly to be patient and let the furthest from the hole go first instead of her rushing through all the time.

If you hit your ball through the camp fire then smoke billows out of the top.

Ice hockey golf!

Brandon chilling.

The Ice Palace.

Holly and a snow Mickey.

Snow Minnie Mouse.

Me and Josh on the course.

Down the slalom course.

And in to the sweet shop.

Looks more like Finland than Orlando.

Through the fireplace and under Santa's boots.

We found Mickey.

Me and H with a Xmas tree in September!!!!!

Another one done, time for some shopping and dinner.

Off to Disney Springs where the Lego shop has some very impressive Lego models outside.

Including a Lego Loch Ness in the lake.

Lego Star Wars characters.

And a Lego Camaro I was very tempted to buy.

Me getting angry with the mount of $ the kids are spending on holiday.

You know, as much as I am against motorbikes, this Harley really suited Josh.

This is more my style.

My all American girl.

Holly with some Lego characters from Disney Frozen.

And of course they had to have a Lego Mickey.

Time to leave Disney Springs and head back to Bahama Bay.

Holly with her Stitch and another big lolly which was a complete waste of money!
