Holly was gutted this year when the Elf on the Shelf did not appear on Dec the 1st with the advent calendars. But we have just had so much on and to e completely honest I just couldn't do a whole month of the Elf. But I said to Tina we will bring the Elf back for the last 12 days of Xmas so as not to disappoint Holly too much. Due to being late this year the Elf has mostly been good by bringing Holly lots of gifts such as Candy floss, an Elf lolly pop, some play-doh etc.
As we have now all recovered from our recent bout of flu we also finally managed to get out as a family for holidays birthday meal. Just like Josh, Holly wanted to go to the Honeypot over in Bas Vegas so we headed there Wednesday evening as it is a rare night where we have no kid clubs.
This weekend has also been quite festive as all the football and rugby was cancelled due to cold weather and hard icy ground. Holly decorated her gingerbread house, we finally got around to putting up the outside Xmas decorations and then today we went to the cinema to watch the new Avatar 2 movie.
