Blog Book Volume 5

Blog book volume 5 arrived fresh in the post today all the way from the US and looks absolutely amazing if I do say so myself. Some 410 pages and nearly 1,500 pictures and that just covers Aug 2012 to May 2013!!! I guess the good news for all the blog readers is that you can now guarantee a lot more updates over the next few years as I will have a 3rd child to start blogging about.

On a different subject I forgot to mention that up until Monday week ago Joshua was well on track for 100% attendance at school for his entire foundation year. Much to ours (and his disappointment), this good record came to an end the day after our Brands Hatch trip when poor Joshua came down with the sickness bug which Brandon brought home and passed around the whole family!

Talking about schools we are getting close to the annual school sports day which is something to really look forward too. Apparently Joshua has not been practising at school yet as this week they have been learning about Greece and doing Greek dancing (how appropriate given that we are going to Zante later this year). For Brandon the nursery have started running P.E. sessions for him where he has to take his own little P.E. kit in. This is all preparation for his transition to school this coming September. His first P.E. lesson involved an obstacle course. I have been keeping both boys active enough and last night after work the 3 of us cycled the full 1 mile lap of the Wick park (not bad for their little legs). I found it pretty hard though given that I had already cycled 30 miles and ran a 10k that day!!!!!
