Holly's Baby Harness

This weekend we had a rare break in the rain and despite being a little bit nippy there was actually some blue sky and the odd looking yellow thing up in the sky. So we made the most of the weather and took the kiddies over to Lake Meadows to burn off some energy this morning. For Holly we decided that rather than push her around in the buggy, she could use her harness for the first time instead. So for about 2 hours she was strapped to my chest and pretty much slept the entire time!!!

Me and Holly sitting on a rocking horse whilst the boys are off playing.

Holly wasn't impressed with Lake Meadows and chose to hardly open her eyes at all.

Little B on the big rope swing.

Then joined by me and Holly (Tina was having kitten's in case I fell off carrying Holly!).

Then Joshua joined and all of the kids were on the swing together.
Joshua chilling on the relax swing.

Holly out for a nice winters day walk with Daddy. Mean while the boys were scooting around the Lake on their scooters.

We actually took the boys golf sets to Lake Meadows hoping to take the boys out on the pitch and putt for the first time. However due to the rain and how muddy the ground was it was closed. However the gate to the crazy golf was open so as I compromise we grabbed a bag of balls and our putters and had a quick 18 holes. Holly was still strapped to my chest meaning I was pretty much playing 1 handed. All 3 of us scored hole-in-ones.

One handed crazy golf, Holly wasn't helping out much.

Brandon aiming for the little tunnel.

Joshua about to sink another putt with me and B looking on.
Unfortunately the boys football was also cancelled this weekend due to the grounds being flooded. So we took a football over to Lake Meadows knowing they had the fenced in hard ground that we could play on. To our surprise we met little Joe over there who also plays on the Lion's Under 6's at Forest Glade. So we had about a 30 min knock around with the ball with me and Holly being goal keepers most of the time with the 3 boys blasting balls at us.

Joshua lines up to tonk a ball at me and Holly.

Joshua going on a rampage as he gets ready to fire off another shot.

Brandon makes a run with his little Barcelona ball.
After our very active morning we headed home for some lunch so that Holly could have some milk and a nappy change. Then me and the boys nipped out in the afternoon to go swimming and play some tennis to give Tina and Holly some chill time.

Holly starting to hold her own milk bottle for the first time.

We need to watch Joshua when he is around Holly. Earlier today he was listening to his mp3 player and next thing we know Holly was wearing his head phones and listing to some of his tunes whilst he was off playing with something else!!! He seemed to find t most amusing seeing her wearing the headphones and to be honest she seemed to be enjoying the music.

Eat, sleep, rave, repeat!!!!!!

I absolutely love the picture of Holly with the headphones on, she looks so unimpressed! Amazing that she is already trying to hold the bottle herself.
Looks like you and the boys had fun at the park. If I was Tina though I would have been more worried about Holly being in goal with you than on the swing! xxx
