Brandon had his first karate grading today and I am very pleased to report that he successfully passed his provisional 12th Kyu which means he now gets his first red tag on his belt (more sewing for Tina). He did very well during his test and concentrated hard as he performed his kick, punch and block. Having trained for nearly 25 years and being a 3rd Dan myself it was a real pleasure to watch one of my own children make that first step up the grades. Will little B follow suit and one day wear a black belt like his Dad?
