Finding Santa School Play and a Drunk Santa

Its that time of the year when the schools put education and PE on hold for about 6 weeks to spend time rehearsing the Christmas School play over and over again. This year Brandon's play was called "Finding Santa" and he was playing one of the snowmen. I am not sure if it is me getting old, the kids being quiet or the amount of coughing going on in the audience and with the kids, but I could hardly hear a word of this years play. Still Brandon looked good in his costume and with his face all painted and he delivered his lines well.

Can you recognise Snowman Brandon amongst these 5?

Microphone in hand and ready to deliver one of his lines.

After the evening performance of his school play we walked around to the Wick shops as the Round Table Santa sleigh was making a visit. This turned out to be a disaster as when we arrived the Santa sounded extremely drunk with his karaoke singing of Christmas songs over the microphone. As we approached he then stumbled backwards tripping over his microphone wire and fell into the road. None of the Round Table helpers even noticed as they were all to busy shaking their charity money collection pots.

Is it just me or does that look like a scary looking snowman face paint?

The Santa sleigh is well illuminated and looks impressive.

Joshua does not have a school Xmas play this year but instead is doing a carol singing service over at Miracle House next Wednesday.

Apart from that the only other news is updates on the very naughty and mischievous Candy Cane Elf. As you can see he has been hanging upside down from ceiling fans, making toilet roll tube swings, drawing on fruit, playing with Lego and leaving toothpaste messages in the sink!!!!

Our Elf drew Minions on a bunch of bananas and named them all after the kids with a message about being good and eating your fruit.
Candy Cane made this toilet roll tube swing in the living room one night and had letters from Santa for each of the kids rolled up in the tube.
I think Holly would like to have a go on this swing.
Candy Cane attempted to build a Lego house. Someone should have told him to stand outside when you build it so as not to trap yourself in it.
But the kiddies were all impressed with the Elf's Lego adventures.
Last night Candy Cane hid in the bathroom sink and had squirted the words "Be Good" into the sink using toothpastes!

Nicely written and artistic, but what a waste of tooth paste.
