Enchanted Audley End

Last night we took the kiddies to the Enchanted Audley End and had an amazing evening walking through the woods and enjoying mulled wine and hot chocolate. The Enchanted walk was very well thought out and very entertaining. There was talking trees, pixie fairies, jingle bell music activities, marshmallow cooking, food and drink stalls plus a mini fairground. No Santa in site as he was too busy, but it was still a very festive event.

At the start of the trail you are greeted by the first talking tree that was snoring louder than Tina.

It was a full moon which added to the spectacular lighting on the trail.

And off we head on our enchanted trail.

The story begins....

A little pixie is was flying around a small cage and looking very lifelike.

Holly spotted this little pixie unicorn hiding in one of the trees.

And she also spotted this tiny little Elf / Pixie door.

One of the walls had this mean looking troll projected on it.

Some of the trees looked amazing all lit up.

These talking trees were singing Xmas carols.

I am Groot.....

A purple talking tree.

On this activity you had 5 bells and all had to ring your coloured bell when a matching light lit up. If you got it right it should have played jingle bells. We almost nailed it.

Brandon roasting his marshmallow.

Even the fountains were lit up on the trail.

Little Holly leading the way along the trail.

The fountain under the bridge all lit up.

A picture of us 5 Kings on the trail.

A light clock projected on to a wall.

Anyone know the way out of here?

Holly with a giant lit up blue ball.

Brandon on some light boxes.

A festive Joshua picture frame.

I think that is hot chocolate around Brandon's lips making his mouth look so big.

This was a weird installation that you could go inside and due to the mirrors your could see in but not out. Beautiful colours though.

Me and the kiddies inside the mirror installation.

A large lit up wall where you could use props to make a shadow story.

More light shadows.

The tomato house was filled with bubbles which could have kept Holly entertained for hours.

The fairground only had little rides suitable for Holly, so she filled her boots and went on everything (some twice).

Anyone for a bus ride home?
