Xmas Crafts 2018 - Annual Giant Cracker

Keeping with tradition and in memory of my Granddad King, today me and the kiddies made our giant Xmas cracker ready for Santa to fill with Secret Santa presents for on boxing day. This year I decided to let each kiddie pick their own section, colour and theme. So Joshua went for a red cracker with a boxing theme, Holly chose pink with LOL dolls and Brandon chose blue with a Fortnite theme. The boys weren't really much help this year other than cutting out and gluing on their specific pictures. Holly loved a bit of Xmas crafts and would have tried to make the whole thing on her own if given the chance!

After our cracker Holly also did a nice festive bit of painting with a stained plastic gingerbread house which looks really good when held up against the light.

1st job was for the kiddies to cut out all of their pictures to decorate the cracker.

Amazingly this keopt all 3 of them entertained and quiet for a good hour or so!

Holly was the only one bothered to help with the actual construction of the cracker this year.

The two end pieces completed and ready for decorating.

And last but not least Holly's pink middle section added on and ready for decorating.

Armed with a Pritt Stick, Holly gets to work smothering her section with LOL dolls.

Seems to be having fun.

At long last the boys are prized off of Fortnite and spend 15-20 minutes gluing on their decorations.

Nice to see all 3 of them not arguing and getting on with something creative.

Although one Pritt Stick ran out and there was a few arguments over who could use it next!

But in the end we finished the 2018 cracker and I have to say it looks as good as ever.

Holly's LOL section.

Brandon's Fortnite section, love the star night sky bands.

And finally Joshua's boxing section.

Holly loves painting and really enjoyed her stained plastic ginger bread house.

Although she didn't like painting with the stick and reverted to using brushes.
The finished house looks amazing against the light.
