So December the 1st is upon us and that means it is time for the Elf on the Shelf to return. Due to the recent "talk" with Josh about Santa he also now knows about the Elves, so he is recruited as an assistant for coming up with ideas and props this year.
The first night was easy as the Elves make their welcome appearance with a letter from Santa and the advent calendars. Joshua got a very educational advent calendar this year which gives you all the components to build an FM radio. Brandon's calendar is a beast in terms of size and over 24 days constructs an RC monster truck. The last but not least, Holly has a Disney Frozen calendar full of jewelry etc.
For day 2 of the Elf on the Shelf, me and Josh got super creative and using an off-cut from the back garden artificial grass made a football pitch and some paper goals for an Elf footy match.
