Lanzarote Day 3

Day 3 in Lanzarote was much the same as Day 2. With Joshua still not eating we didn't dare venture too far from the comforts of the hotel and decided to just stay in the resort and the baby pools - but we still have some nice photo's to share with you. We let Joshua try out his new wet suit which was an early birthday present from Nanny. As you can see it fits fine and gave sufficient buoyancy to enable him to walk in water very comfortably.

The small baby pool shown in these pictures is not heated and surprisingly gets very cold over night. With temperatures close to 30 degrees during the day the pool soon warmed up to bath like temperatures. However it was really funny when we tried to lower Joshua into the pool first thing in the morning. His little toes would touch the water and he would curl his legs up to try and avoid going in to the cold water. Once he was in there it was fine, but it was just hilarious watching him lift his legs out of the water (see below).

Again after all that pool activity it was time for another mid morning nap on a sun lounger.

Everyone knew Joshua was British as he proudly wore his Arsenal kit abroad.

Later that evening it was time to dress up nicely and hit the restaurant again. Tonight's theme for us was the Hawaiian shirts. Tina kept saying Joshua was a mini-me!

Mini-me managed to eat some soup and then had a chew on this sweet/desert stick.

Finally is this just one of the most adorable pictures of Joshua you have ever seen. Check out that cheeky grin!
