Cinnamon or Sugar?

Today Joshua went swimming again with his friends Millie and Joaben. Joshua is getting so confident in the water now. A couple of times today he pushed himself away from me and treaded water on his own. When I gave him a clap to acknowledge his achievement his faced beamed from ear to ear and he wanted to do it even more.


As yesterday was such a nice day we took our first family trip out to Southend Seafront for a couple of hours. We have been out shopping and visiting as a foursome, but not out anywhere for leisure. Joshua loved it down there and was splashing around in the muddy water and climbing all over the sea wall.

On the beach he was absolutely fascinated with a flock of seagulls which were flying above us. Here you can see the little guy pointing them out to his Dad.

After all that exercise we figured it was about time Joshua tried one of the local Essex specialities - yes Southend Seafront donuts. Of course the big question is sugar or cinnamon - well for Joshua this was easy - since you have two hands then why choose one over the other - have both!!!

Of course we can no longer go to the seafront and not let Joshua have a go on some of the toddler rides. So here he is playing Thunderbirds and Bob The Builder (yes still eating his donuts!).

Finally I guess your wondering what Brandon thought of his first visit to the seaside. Well he was busy counting zzzzzzzzzz's in his buggy all the time we were there.

After all that fun and activity it is time for the two brothers to get some much needed R&R with an afternoon power nap. Butter wouldn't melt in their mouths would it????
