Fridge Learning

I finally managed to get some pictures of the boys wearing their new fireman helmets which they got from Chelmsford fire station open day on Saturday. Interestingly Joshua now wants to be a fireman but Brandon has decided he does not like fireman, only Fireman Sam.

Has Joshua decided his chosen career path already?

Guess who?

My two little Fireman.
Our fridge has become a learning tool for the boys with all sorts of alphabet type of fridge magnets. However the latest addition to the fridge is really cool. Its like a magnetic weather station / calendar. Each day the boys get to update the day, month, weather and even if its a special occasion (like Christmas or a birthday etc.). I was really pleased to find this as Joshua has started learn what the date is from similar boards used in his pre-school and both boys are very aware of the days of the week.

The ultimate fridge magnet.

Finally for todays blog I have a little picture taken in the playgground area of Joshua's new school that he starts at in September. As if the excitement wasn't enough already, he has now learned that they have just purchased this amazing pirate ship for the two foundation classes to play in. How cool.
