Tooth Fairy

At times poor little Holly gets pulled from pillar to post by her two older brothesr. Earlier this week Joshua came waltzing into the kitchen with Holly on his shoulders asking for help to get her down. Holly seemed to be having fun and at the time it was amusing to see, but they boys do give us heart attacks at times with the way the handle the poor little girl.

Anyway this blog update is all about Brandon's latest visit from the tooth fairy. On Tuesday night we put him to bed with a very, very wobbly front central incisor tooth. Initially he didn't want anyone to touch it but we convinced him that he might swallow it during the night and to let me try and pull it out for him. So with him laying in bed I managed to get a firm grip and in a single yank the tooth was out. Minimal pain and no blood. So now he has lost four teeth all together and has a new smile with both his top two teeth missing!

It seems quite a while since either of the two boys had a tooth fall out. So Brandon was the first of them to try our Auntie Lisa's tooth pillow to put underneath their bed pillow for the tooth fairy.

And on the back is his name and a little pocket for the tooth to go in and for the tooth fairy to leave a coin.

Having the tooth pillow certainly makes the tooth fairy's job a bit easier when rummaging around in the dark, feeling around under a pillow whilst trying not to wake a child as you recover a tooth and exchange it for a coin. In this case the going rate was £2.
