Joshua's 9th Birthday Pt.2

Joshua's birthday week continues and as things start to settle down we have had more time to look at some of his presents and play some of the games. One of the crazy games he got is Doh Nutters" which has you all looking like daft elephants as you try and pick up donuts from the floor. Then there was giant jenga which is actually really good fun and even Holly understands how to play this game and enjoys it (even though more often than not she is responsible for the tower ultimately falling!). He also got the Game of Life Junior which we played 2 or 3 times last night and Birthday boy beat us in every game!

Joshua's new West Ham home kit fits him nicely and looks good. He wore it all day today and didn't want to put it in the wash tonight! The other present we experimented with today was Joshua's in line skates. I am not exactly the best teacher having never used them myself, but clearly it is a lot more difficult than I gave it credit for and Joshua struggles to even stand up. I managed to get him to go up and down the garden path half a dozen times holding on to my arms and that was about it. These are going to take a lot of practise before he is mobile on these!!!!

Holly even makes wearing a daft elephant mask look cute.

Now I am sure Holly cheated and used her hands to get that many donuts!
Holly be very careful as she plays the giant jenga.

Brandon taking his go as the middle of the tower starts getting wobbly.

Anyone seen Holly?

I think we need to get Matt Smith over for some coaching sessions as I am probably not the best to teach Joshua how to skate.

We progressed to just one hand, but he was very wobbly and couldn't even stand up with the brake pressed down.
