Bye bye Candy Cane

So Xmas Eve 2016 is upon us and it is time for the kiddies to say their goodbye's to Candy Cane for another year. In the final week it was good to see Candy Cane doing more nice things rather than the usual antics. So as a quick catch-up on the past few days;
  • Obviously running out of ideas, Candy Cane had a game of scrabble which I am sure was one of his activities from last year.
  • Then he left a festive message for the kids using the magnetic letter board.
  • He has brought all the kids an annual to ready.
  • Then he had a night practising ring muscles ups strung from the conservatory fan using my gymnastic rings.
  • Then he turned himself into Frosty the Snowman the next night using three roles of toilet roll.
  • He then had a tea party with loads of Holly's soft toys.
  • After that Candy Cane had reported back to Santa about how good the boys school reports were and he gave them another present for Xmas with the Pie Face Showdown.
  • The next night he went back to his naughty ways tucking in to a box of cereal on the kitchen floor. Holly was most upset when she sore this and kept telling Candy Cane off. Then she ate all the cereal which was on the floor.
  • For Candy Cane's final night he left the kids each a Xmas Eve goodie bag which included chocolates, a Lego set, a DVD each, a colouring set, a hot chocolate drink and a few other bits and bobs.

So with the goodie bag Candy Cane left them two letters. One from Santa confirming they are on the good list and a second one from Candy Cane himself saying thank you for the past month and what fun he has had. As usual the kids can touch Candy Cane today and have a brief kiss and cuddle before sending him off on his way tonight to not be seen again until December 1st 2017.

I think playing "Scrabble" was the only repeat activity that Candy Cane did from 2015.

A festive message using the magnetic letter board.

One of Candy Cane's rare good deeds as he brings all 3 kiddies an annual to read.
Setting a good example for doing exercise to the kids by practising ring muscle ups in the conservatory.
Very creative as Candy Cane turns himself into Frosty the Snowman using rolls of toilet tissue.
Now that's a late night snack as Candy Cane arranges a tea party with some friends. Holly wasn't happy with him using all her kitchen toys.
Another good deed as Candy Cane brings them Pie Face Showdown for getting good interim school reports.
Back to his naughty ways as Candy Cane leaves cereal all over the kitchen floor.
And finally on Xmas Eve Candy leaves a couple of lovely letters from himself and Santa and then a bag of gifts for them to enjoy on Xmas Eve.

Good advice from Candy Cane to listen to your parents and teachers!!!
A nice letter from Santa with instructions for saying farewell to Candy Cane at bedtime tonight.
