Several weeks ago Holly brought home a pea or bean of some sort which she had planted in a plastic cup as a little project at pre-school. We left it in the conservatory and kept watering it. With the very mild conditions that we are having the bean stalk seemed to grow very quickly and it wasn't long before I had to re-pot the stalk in a flower pot. As you can see from the picture her bean stalk is now far taller than she is and would not longer fit in the conservatory. So today we moved her plant into the vegetable patch. Fingers crossed it continues growing and we get some nice veggies from it this year. Holly is really, really proud of her plant though.
