Devon Camping 2019 Day 9 - More Body Boarding

Our last full day in Devon and the kids just wanted to play on the beach which was absolutely fine with me as the weather was pretty good and the beach here was lovely. So for this blog update it is really just lots of beach pictures again with a little bit of pool and some sand art for Holly also thrown in there.

The highlight of the day for the kiddies was that I told them as it was out last day they could go to the shop for breakfast and buy an ice cream each (something which Auntie Nicky started several years back when we went camping with her and Nanny/Granddad). Amazing how the little things mean so much to the kids and they all couldn't wait for this.

On our last day we had to be off site by 10am so we packed up early and then went for a full English breakfast in the restaurant before hitting the road. On the way home we once again stopped at Stone Henge (at the kids request) to break up the journey and it was much less windy that a week and a half ago. Anyway for some reason I got no pictures from our struggles with getting the tent down and loading everything in to the car and then the second visit to Stone Henge.

I never got bored of seeing that beautiful view of Croyd beach from over the camp site.

Ice cream for breakfast (thanks to Auntie Nicky).

Last day of making the most of the beach and some body boarding.

Finally manage to get some closer pictures of the boys.

Using his board to fend off the oncoming wave.

There's a Josh in there somewhere.

Tomorrow I need to figure out how to get all these body boards back in what was already a very packed car!

Brandon didn't do much body boarding on the last day and just wanted to jump around in the waves.

Holly had a few more goes but got quite cold again and ended up wanting Mummy cuddles.

Holly enjoying her last day on Croyd beach.

Amazingly I think Brandon spent more time in the sea this holiday than anyone else.

Holly warming up with a Mummy cuddle.

The boys stable diet for lunchtime had become these sausage rolls sold in the onsite shop which they took quite a liking too.

For me and Tina it was the Cornish (or should I say Devonish) pasties.

When in Rome - eat a Cornish pasty!

Joshua and Brandon having a couple of games of pool whilst Holly played on the soft play area.

I think it ended 1-1 which is a surprise as usually Brandon is a little better than Joshua.

Holly really enjoyed doing a sand art picture of Sparkle which made another nice souvenir for her to bring home.
