Dragging Brandon off of the arcade ride on's...............
Then it was up, up and away in the chairlift.
Brandon initially had a look of panic as he looked down beneath his feet as the ground disappeared away.
Both the boys were very well behaved sitting on our laps and seemed to enjoy the experience of being up very high and enjoying the scenery. Whilst keeping one hand securely wrapped around Brandon I some how managed to take a few pictures and even a little video clip of the boys first ride on a chair lift. At the end we almost got a second go free as the staff were caught napping and almost missed getting us off.
Tina and Joshua rode in the chair behind me and Brandon. You can just about make them out.
Almost heading over the cliffs edge..........
Brandon looks down on the spectacular needles.
As we started the ascent back up the cliff I managed to take this impressive picture looking behind at Tina and Joshua. Doesn't that coast line look nice.
After the chairlift we then headed into the Sand shop where the boys enjoyed playing in all the different coloured sands and filling up their moulds. Joshua with an elephant and Brandon with a rabbit. Joshua seemed to enjoy spooning all the different colour sands into his mould and then tipping them out and starting all over again. Brandon was just enjoying running around and grabbing handfuls of sand to either mix in with other colours or to throw on the floor.
After the sand shop we went over to the glass factory to watch how a vase was being hand made. Joshua surprised us a little as he was genuinely fascinated with the process and was fixated on the demonstration for about 15 mins without a single peep from him. I did not take any photos and did not think too much more about the glass factory until we were back at home last Sunday. Then Joshua really surprised us. Whilst I was mowing the grass he had got one of his golf clubs and sat on the grass rolling it up and down his legs mirroring how he had seen the man moulding the glass. When I went to touch it he told me off because it was very hot! I was amazed that he had taken all that in and that his little imagination was re-creating what he had seen. Incredible.
After a spot of lunch it was finally time to let Joshua loose on some of the rides which he had been craving from the moment we arrived at the needles. Then we had a brief walk around the shops and up to the old Battery before heading back to the caravan park.
