Abacus Bus Grand Opening

The Abacus Primary School which the two boys go too recently purchased an old London double decker bus for something like £1,000. Over the summer holidays the bus which was in very poor condition has gone under much renovation to make it safe and looking good. The original concept was to have it in a playground as a special place for classes to go for reading (like a library bus). However I think the school have now come around to the idea of simply using the bus as a breakout style additional classroom that all of the classes can share. Most of the seats have been stripped out and it has been painted Abacus yellow/purple with some fun interior fittings. Last week was the grand opening of the bus and now it is open to use by the teachers/students. What a great idea.
