Later this week is the BBC Children in Need day which as
everyone knows is all about raising funds to make a difference to disadvantaged
children and young people all across the UK. The mascot for Children in Need is
Pudsey Bear who has been around since 1985 when he made his debut alongside
Terry Wogan. Despite Children in Need being around for so long it was
completely unknown to me that in 2009 Pudsey had been joined by another female
bear named “Blush” who has a spotty bow with a pattern similar to Pudsey’s
bandanna pattern.
So why am I writing about this on the blog? Well because
Holly came home from her pre-school yesterday and was very proud of the fact
that her face had been painted to look like “Blush”. She then spent the rest of
the evening trying to wipe the face paint off on our skin and clothes!
