Trick or Treat 2017

This year we had an amazing time on Halloween. As usual we decorated the house ready for trick or treaters to knock on our door and then the kids got dressed up ready to go out trick or treating themselves. This year Holly was a witch, Brandon was a glow in the dark skeleton and Joshua was a made scientist.

The kids must have walked miles and accumulated so many sweets doing their trick or treat. On the Wick estate Halloween is a really community event with so many families out and about, dressed up and participating in the festivities. It seems like you bump in to half the school whilst out and about. Some of the houses really go to town with their decorations and others really push the boundaries of spooky, scariness which ultimately results in the kids having nightmares.

Holly was hilarious this year as she walked around shouting out "Happy Halloween" and was like a girl possessed knocking on doors to collect as many sweets as possible.

Our house all decorated, pumpkins on display and kids dressed up ready to go trick or treating.

Looking very colourful in their 2017 costumes.

As usual this house on the Wick had amazing decorations. The owner was wearing plasterers stilts to dress up as a 8ft high grim reaper.

The kids pumpkins on display.

I finally got around to carving my Turk Turb pumpkin and the only think I could think of to do with it was to make a flying saucer.

Despite being a simple carving, I think the Minion flying saucer looked pretty amazing especially with a few lights added.
