Holly's 4th Birthday

It hardly seems believable, but today was our little Princess Holly's 4th birthday. It has been really amazing this year as it is the first year that she has really understood that it was her special day and that she was going to be getting presents, cards, cakes and so on. She knows that she is 4 years old and can hold up 4 fingers to show her age as well. When she woke up this morning she was so excited to go and see how many presents she had and needed no help in unwrapping them either.

 

This year we asked Holly what she wanted for her birthday and all she kept saying was stuff for her babies. She didn't want anything for herself, just all her dolls!!!! I love Holly to bits and was probably just as excited as her for her special day, but I do struggle with enthusiasm when it comes to playing with dolls!!!! Anyway she got a set of twin dolls that she has named Robby and Rosie, a double buggy for the twins, a bunk bed for the twins, a clamp on table for her dolls to sit at the dinner table, a puzzle book, a talking Peppa Pig teddy, a bike chair for her dolls plus loads of presents and money from the family. Holly's birthday cake this year was a My Little Pony cake.

 



After opening all of her presents Holly had to go to Tree House nursery today and they gave her an amazing day at school and also sang Happy Birthday to her. Then after school she had a visit by Nanny, Auntie Nicky, Min, Lea, Zoe and Nick. We do have a Build-a-Bear party booked for her friends but that is in a couple of weekends time - so something for her to look forward too before Xmas.

Lily Anna now has her very own chair at the dinner table. Not a good idea as Holly spent all dinner time trying to get her doll to eat rather than eating her own dinner.

Holly seemed to forget she had to eat herself and was teaching her doll to eat and to dab!
