Bulgaria Sunny Beach 2023 - Day 10 VIP Catamaran Ride

Day 10 and we had a fairly early start to catch a bus back down to Nessebar again for an excursion we had booked for a day out on a VIP Catamaran. We were very lucky with the weather as it was a complete contrast to yesterday with no wind, rain or cloud and instead just flat seas and glorious sunshine - perfect for a day out on the sea.

The excursion was all inclusive with all our drinks and food included. We set off from Nessebar and headed out to the furthest Eastern part of Bulgaria. Not far from there we anchored up in a beautiful crystal blue bay area for s spot of snorkeling and then lunch.

After lunch the captain used the sails for most of the journey back as opposed to the engines which made for a really relaxing and peaceful journey. That was until I spotted two dolphins on the side of the catamaran that we was sitting and suddenly all the other guests came over to our side to try and see them. It s a miracle the catamaran didn't tip up. The captain was also kind enough to let Holly have a go at steering the catamaran on the way home.

Once we got back to our hotel we enjoyed a few drinks and dinner and then went for a nautical themed game of crazy golf which actually became quite stressful with people just jumping on holes randomly instead of following the holes in sequence.

We set off from the harbour in Nessebar on our VIP catamaran tour.

On the way out we just sat on the side dangling our feet over and looking at the beautiful views.

In the harbour the catamaran didn't look that big. But this gives you an idea of the size!

The 3 kiddies enjoying a day out at sea.

Soaking up some sun and searching for any sealife.

The Bulgarian flag aloft on the catamaran.

Holly really enjoying this excursion.

The toilet in one of the hulls had a window so you could look in to the sea whilst taking a poo!

Beautiful blue skies and calm seas.

Nessebar quickly vanished in to the distance.

Me and my boys.

The ladies.

On the way out Holly also did some drawing with some other kids.

Some of the really big hotels we past as we headed out to the east side of Bugaria.

Despite free alcohol on board - I had to have my morning espresso, not quite a Skull Crusher but it will do.

Does life get any better than this?

She's a nut case.

Crystal blue seas.

Solar panel Brandon just soaking up the sun all day.

Of course the ladies matched their swim wear for the day.

Another view from a window in the hul.

Brandon flexing his six pack for a picture.

At the furthest eastern point of Bulgarian. Amazing how the different layers in the rock formations are angled.

This was the lovely little bay where we anchored up for a snorkel and lunch.

From where we anchored up the kids spotted a couple of nudists sitting on the rocks!!!

Loads of fish can be clearly seen in the crystal blue waters.

Brandon gearing up for a snorkel.

Holly and Josh wasting no time to cool off in the sea.

Holly used a floatie to help snorkel and could see loads crabs on the sea bed.

A few of the crabs that we kept treating on!!!

A view back at the catamaran from the sea.

Ginger Josh being sensible and keeping a shirt on to protect him from the sun.

Holly really enjoyed the snorkeling and got to see the crabs and a few different fish.

Holly, Josh and Tina having a snorkel.

Look closely and you can see a fish on the sea bed.

Amazingly Tina was the last of use to get out of the sea. Perhaps because we could all smell the lunch and was hungry!

Lunch on board was delicious.

Sales up for the journey home.

Holly snuggle for me.

Brandon snuggle for Tina.

Oh no, who let her control the catamaran?

It is sickening how these two just soak of the sun and go super brown without burning.

Not the greatest of pictures, but here is one of the dolphins we saw on the way back.

And again, there was two of them and they were only there for about 15 seconds or so.

After about 4 hours out at sea we are back at the harbour.

Matching swim suits earlier, matching dolphin dresses later.

Two sharks.

Me and H on the shark hole of the nautical themed crazy golf.

And Tina with the dolphins.

Brandon on the dolphin hole of the course.

Joshua launches one at a shell.

Under the turtle on this hole.

Yes Holly is STILL wearing her Inter Miami football kit.

Joshua on the shark hole which I have to say was nigh on impossible.

Brandon was the only one not wearing a football kit tonight, but instead had his WestHam Hawaiian shirt on.

Holly resting on a manta ray.

Not sure how the cobra head fits in with all the sea animals for the final hole - another impossible one.

Looks straight forward but I don't think any of us completed it.
