Bulgaria Sunny Beach 2023 - Day 3 Nessebar Aqua Park

Day 3 in Bulgaria and we headed out of resort about 30 mins South to the Aquapark in old town of Nessebar. The Aquapark claims to be the 3rd largest in Europe which is pretty amazing, but I find it hard to believe given the size of the likes of Siam Park in Tenerife and also the water park we went to in Spain (to name just two others). Nessebar Aquapark certainly has some amazing water slides and plenty of them for sure, but it isn't huge and this is reflected in the size of the lazy river and the wave pool. Perhaps we are just spoilt from the water parks in Florida last year.

There are a couple of really amazing slides at Nessebar including the very impressive King Cobra and Volcano. The main swimming pool had a pool bar with a stage for live acts to entertain which was quite cool. There was also tonnes of options for snacks and lunch and thus to have a break from the sun we took time out to sit down for a nice lunch away from our typical all inclusive. We also managed to pick up 2 or 3 souvenir photos taken by the on-site photographer.

 

After a 30 min bus ride we arrived at Nessebar and got to avoid the queues and go straight through with pre-paid tickets.

At the end you go up into the cobras mouth with the fangs squirting water.

This 4 lane slide was the only one in the park Holly couldn't ride as she wasn't heavy enough for the up part.

When we got back to resort we played some table tennis, but it was still way too hot for this.

We wewn't very good and spent most of our time picking the ball up from the floor.

So instead we went inside for a few games of pool.
