Bulgaria Sunny Beach 2023 - Day 4 New Donut Floatie

Day 4 and Holly was not feeling that great today and so we had a bit of a down day and a lazy one chilling by the pool. With the British Masters Crossfit Champs in 3 weeks time I could not slack off of my training so got up nice and early for a 5k beach run down to dolphin beach and then instead of my cold plunge, the reward for finishing this run in 30 degree heat was an absolutely lovely dip in the black sea.

As Holly was feeling under the weather me and the boys took a little walk along the strip and bought her a pink donut floatie to play around with in the pool. This certainly did the trick and perked her up a bit once she woke up from her sun longer daytime nap.

In the evening we had our usual walk along the strip and then me and the boys decided to go for a late night dip in the sea where we had some interested conversations (probably due to the influence of alcohol). But it was good fun.

Our hotel was great in that whatever time of day you went down to the pool, you could always find some sun loungers and a shade.

Brandon was starting to get proud of his developing 6 pack on holiday and kept comparing to mine.

He is a little poser that's for sure.

Eventually Holly gave in and took a daytime nap as she wasn't feeling great.

To try and cheer Holly up me and the boys went out and bought her this inflatable donut.

Which seemed to work and certainly got a lot of use over the holiday.

We found probably the smallest McDonald's ever on our evening walk. Rest assured we never went to McDonald's once on holiday as I refused plus their prices are super high.

Surprisingly the sea was very calm and very warm of a night time.

Never got bored of looking back at that view of a night time.
