Holly Wearing Arsenal

Another league game for Joshua's U8 Tigers today and what a great game it was. We were playing just up the road at Runwell Hospital and it was the first time we had played this team and so we didn't really know what to expect. But the team were on fire today with some great passing and positional play. The match was so tight and ended a 6-6 draw with there never being more than one goal difference. It is so good to watch the team when they are playing like they did today. Joshua played right mid field today and made some great runs, he had a few shots at goal and took 3 or 4 corners during the match.

Whilst over at Runwell Joshua also had a go on a rugby scrum trainer.
Then little B had a go, but the concrete blocks were moving nowhere.
As the kids couldn't move the scrum trainer they decided to use it as a climbing frame.
Holly is really getting used to the regular routine of football every weekend and from the moment we get our shoes on and head to the car, she is telling me "football". She really loves it and always has a little kick around with a ball. For the first time today she ever wore her little Arsenal football kit.

Very proud of her left foot passing.
After today's match we headed home and one of Joshua's team mates, Ethan, came around for lunch and to have a play. Josh, Brandon and Ethan were all playing the Wii for a while and then we headed over the park to teach Ethan how to fish. We only caught a couple of Roach today and Ethan wouldn't go anywhere near them. We also did some archery in the garden and surprisingly both Ethan and Joshua are now strong enough to pull my full size bow on their own and hit the target from about 10-15ft away.

Its a 3 way race on Mario Kart.

Despite Brandon being good at driving games he was beaten by Ethan.

Whilst the boys were all playing I got the easel out for Holly to do some chalk drawing and she absolutely loved it.

She was shouting "draw draw" as she went to work creating her masterpiece.
