Joshua's Year 6 Residential Trip to PGL Bawdsey Manor

It seems like the kids have only just gone back to school and Joshua is now off on his weeks residential at the PGL site in Bawdsey Manor, Suffolk. He left midday day Monday and is not due back until Friday evening.

Bawdsey Manor looks an absolutely amazing place that stands at a prominent position at the mouth of the River Deben close to the village of Bawdsey in Suffolk, England, about 74 miles northeast of London. Built in 1886, it was enlarged in 1895 as the principal residence of Sir William Cuthbert Quilter. The Manor opened for holidays in 2017 and stands on 144 acres of land with tonnes of great activities ranging from abseiling, challenge course, zip wire, giant swing etc.etc. So if I know Josh as well as I think I do, he is going to have an absolute blast of a week.

Miss him loads already and can't wait to hear all the stories when he gets back on Friday.

The stunning Bawdsey Manor in Suffolk where Joshua has gone for his residential.

Big Josh in his Year 6 already to head off on his PGL trip.

He looks so happy carrying his case and pillow!

Heading down for the coach (he's already had his sickness tablets).

No looking back or tears from Josh, he is used to residentials from his cubs and scouts.

Joshua with his best mates Tom and Ethan.

On the coach and finally he is smiling (he obviously doesn't realise there is no Fortnite for the whole week!).
