You know it is getting close to Bon Fire night and Halloween when Southend Seafront starts its free firework displays through October and November. Last night we decided to take a drive in to Southend and get some Fish'n'Chips and then sit down and watch the display. Afterwards we had a nice treat of donuts, candy floss and Holly had a Slushie (which she only half drunk as usual!).
The fireworks were really good and lasted a good 15 mins or so. The Fish'n'Chips were lovely (even if we did have to wait about 30 mins in a queue for them!). So all in all a relatively cheap night out which was made even better by the surprising 20+ degree weather we had.
